PARIS - ROUBAIX
Already last year, Paris - Roubaix was about to happen in October. We all know what happened and that the 2020 edition of the "Hell of the North" was cancelled. It's almost 2,5 years since Philippe Gilbert gained one of the most prestigious victories in the Roubaix velodrome.

Riding the cobbles (this year's course includes 30 cobbled sectors with a total of 50k) demands everything for each and every rider. It's already a heroic battle in dry conditions and even more challenging on slippery pavés.

After the last wet edition in 2002, this year's "Queen of the Classics" looks to be a wet and muddy competition after a very long time.

For all of us who can't remember or can't imagine how it looks like to ride on a muddy RBX parcour, we've inspected the final 150k to soak up history and conditions of an incomparable race.

These autumn scenes were also the perfect reminder to ourselves that it's time to gear up and pull out some warmer clothes for the coming months.
