RULES OF THE PRIZE COMPETITION

“Castelli Maratona dles Dolomites Contest”

Eligible Participants: This initiative is open to users of legal age who are domiciled and/or resident in the countries listed in Annex A to these Rules.

Competition Period: From 2 April to 20 April 2026. Winner selection record to be completed by 30 April 2026.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

From 2 April until 20 April 2026, the Promoter will give users meeting the eligibility requirements set out under “Eligible Participants” the opportunity to take part in this initiative in accordance with the terms described below.

In particular, to participate, eligible users must:

connect to the website www.castelli-cycling.com;
access the section dedicated to this competition;
complete all fields marked as mandatory in the electronic entry form provided for the competition, including the email address of a friend who will be invited to register for the competition.

Only one registration per Eligible Participant will be permitted. Therefore, each user may enter the Competition only once and invite only one friend. Any registrations after the first that can be traced back to the same identity may be invalidated, even retrospectively, and any prize awarded may be cancelled and reassigned to a reserve winner.

Participation under a false name, false identity, or fictitious identity is not permitted. In such cases, the Promoter reserves the right to verify the identity of participants and to take any appropriate action in the event of a breach of this rule.

The data of all participants who have completed the procedure described above, and whose invited friend has in turn actually registered for the competition, will both be recorded (inviter and invitee) by the Promoter or by third parties appointed by it in a selection file.

By 30 April 2026, in the presence of a notary public or the official responsible for consumer protection and public trust of the competent Chamber of Commerce, 3 winners will be randomly selected manually, together with 3 reserve winners for each winner (for a total of 9 reserve winners). Each winner will receive the following prize:

PRIZE

1 Kit consisting of:

2 race entries for participation in the amateur cycling event Maratona dles Dolomites on 5 July 2026 (including the Castelli jersey included in the official registration kit);
2 pairs of Castelli shorts;
2 pairs of Castelli socks;
2 Castelli gilets/vests;
2 pairs of Castelli arm warmers.

Total value of each Kit: €901.64 + VAT, where applicable

Please note that the race entries for the amateur cycling event are subject to the procedures normally applied by Maratona dles Dolomites. Transport, meals, accommodation, and anything not expressly stated as included are excluded.

Should a winner decide not to take part in the Maratona dles Dolomites after accepting the prize, the prize shall in any case be deemed delivered, and the winner shall have no further claim whatsoever against the Promoter or any parties involved in organising the competition.

Should the dates for use of the prize change for organisational reasons, the Promoter will promptly notify the winners.

Please also note that, for the physical prizes, colour, type and size shall be chosen at the Promoter’s discretion.

TOTAL PRIZE POOL: €2,704.92 + VAT, where applicable

It is also reminded and reiterated that:

participants must provide correct and truthful data.

WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE ACCEPTANCE

Winners will be notified by email and must accept the prize within the timeframe and according to the procedures communicated in the winner notification email, in the manner indicated therein (at least 5 days).

If a winner cannot be contacted, or if the acceptance is not valid (for example, due to failure to reply within the required time and in the required manner), the prize award will be deemed invalid and a reserve winner will take over.

EXCLUSIONS

The following are excluded from participation in this prize competition:

persons resident and/or domiciled outside the countries listed in Annex A to these Rules;
minors.

Also excluded from participation in the Competition, and therefore not entitled to any prize they may have won, are any users who, in the sole and unquestionable judgment of the Promoting Company or third parties appointed by it, are found to have won by means or tools deemed suspicious, fraudulent, or in breach of the normal conduct of the initiative.

The Promoting Company and any third parties appointed by it reserve the right to take action, within the limits deemed most appropriate and in compliance with applicable laws, in order to restrict and prevent any attempt to circumvent the system devised.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any problems relating to access, impediments, malfunctions, or technical difficulties concerning technical tools, computers, telephone lines, transmission systems, connections, or internet connections that may prevent a participant from taking part in the competition.

The winner is solely responsible for the management of his/her email account, in particular with reference to:

checking any winner notification email;
adopting security measures to prevent unauthorised persons from accessing his/her mailbox.

The Promoting Company and any third parties appointed by it shall bear no responsibility in the event of non-delivery or late delivery of the prize where any of the following circumstances occurs:

the winner’s mailbox is full;
the email address indicated by the participant during registration is incorrect, incomplete, or non-existent;
there is no response from the host computer after the winner notification email has been sent;
the winner’s mailbox has been disabled;
the email address provided during registration has been blacklisted;
the personal data entered during registration is incorrect and/or untruthful.

RIGHTS RESERVED BY THE PROMOTER

The Promoting Company reserves the right to:

publish the winner’s details;
request from the winner and, where applicable, from participants any documents necessary to verify the accuracy of the data entered; such request shall be made by email to the address used for competition registration; failure to provide the requested documentation, or incomplete provision of the same, within the period indicated in the request shall result in exclusion from the competition and, where applicable, cancellation of the prize award;
carry out all appropriate checks and, where necessary, cancel registrations, entries, or prize awards made, at the sole and unquestionable discretion of the Promoting Company or third parties appointed by it, in a manner inconsistent with these Rules or by means, procedures and/or tools deemed suspicious, fraudulent, or contrary to the proper conduct of the initiative, thereby excluding from participation users who do not comply with the rules set out in these Rules, and also cancelling any prizes already awarded.

Prizes are non-transferable.

Participation under a false name, false identity, or fictitious identity is not permitted. In such cases, the Promoter reserves the right to verify participants’ identities and to take any appropriate action in the event of a breach of this rule, including cancellation of the prize award.

Prizes will be delivered to the rightful recipients within 180 days (six months) from the date of allocation, and in any event in time for them to be used.

The Promoting Company and any third parties appointed by it are not responsible for postal disruptions beyond their control affecting prize delivery.

Should prizes become unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a prize of equal or greater value with similar characteristics.

The Promoting Company reserves the right to cancel this Competition at any time and to amend these Rules without prior notice, if required by unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

The security deposit, equal to 100% of the total value of the prizes offered, as provided for by Article 7 of Presidential Decree no. 430/2001, has been lodged in favour of the Ministry of Economic Development.

CHARITY

Any prizes not awarded, for any reason other than refusal, will be donated to the following non-profit organisation, in accordance with Article 10, paragraph 5 of Presidential Decree no. 430 of 26 October 2001:

SERVER LOCATION

The servers are located within Italian national territory.

ADVERTISING

The content of the promotion will be communicated through the following means: web campaign.

The full Rules will be available on the competition page. The Company reserves the right in any event to use any other communication means deemed suitable to bring the content of this prize competition to the attention of the intended participants.

WITHHOLDING TAX

The Promoting Company does not intend to exercise the right of recourse in respect of the 25% withholding tax provided for under Article 30 of Presidential Decree no. 600 of 29 September 1973.

It is understood that participants in this initiative declare that they are of legal age.

Participation in this prize competition entails the participant’s full and unconditional acceptance of all the rules and clauses contained in these Rules, without any limitation whatsoever.

The Promoter guarantees that the processing of personal data supplied by participants, who declare that they are of legal age, in connection with this prize competition is carried out in compliance with personal data protection legislation, as stated in the dedicated link available in the registration form.
