If indoor is your main training tool for the winter months, then a dedicated pair of indoor shorts will keep you cooler. The entire construction of this short is focused on making it as cool, light, and airy as possible while still providing the necessary support. The main body fabric is lighter than what our race shorts use, and the side mesh panels help with additional ventilation. We use the skin care layer of our tried and tested Progetto X2 Air Seamless pad because it's sufficiently cushioned for most indoor sessions but much cooler than the full Progetto X2 Air Seamless pad from our cycling shorts.
