This past weekend’s Ride With Reggie event on Zwift saw over 4,000 riders taking to the streets of the Richmond UCI World Championship course, showing support for diversity in cycling and the creation of cycling programs at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Reggie Miller was joined in person by Ayesha McGowan (along with Reggie’s family), and virtually by Justin Williams, Kate Courtney, Colin Strickland, Sonya Loony, Laura Philip, and Eric Lagerstrom, to name just a handful of riders.
The enthusiasm throughout the ride made it a really special event, and we received a steady stream of thousands of comments throughout the ride. Although it was difficult to keep up with all of them, it ultimately reinforced the support from such a wonderfully engaged group.

After the ride, we surprised Reggie with a cake designed like the event jersey, and although it was only 9am in the morning, it was well earned and deserved celebration.
Thanks again to everyone for joining the ride, and to our partners for helping us promote the event, including Moots, ENVE, fi’zi:k!, Kask, Koo, and Wahoo. As we’ve said from the beginning, we collectively can make – and have made – a difference!
