GABBA RoS

This is the original jacket/jersey that started an entire new product class: the Gabba. It's a water-resistant short-sleeve jacket that's equally ideal for dry conditions. Made to be worn with our Nano Flex arm warmers, it allows you to keep your core warm without overheating.

GABBA RoS

HOW COME NO ONE EVER MADE A BETTER GABBA? In 2010 Castelli introduced the Gabba to the pros and changed the way pros race in the rain. And cold. And ride in training. Every other performance cyclist soon saw the need for a Gabba in his or her wardrobe. We've made some minor updates along the way, but for the fourth-generation Gabba we started with a clean slate to make a significant upgrade. That involved moving it to near waterproof levels, which meant developing a new exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabric. We made the front-facing fabric warmer with a light brushing, while the rear-facing fabrics are lighter yet more water repellent than the previous Gabba. We made it better in the rain through seam sealing on the shoulders and a covered zipper. Based on Quickstep Grenadiers testing we figured it's better to have two pockets that are easier to access with gloved hands, though we provide an internal sleeve to keep your pump or other items from moving around. It's not easy to make a better Gabba. We'll keep trying.

Gabba get one, ridetastic

18/01/2023

I have had my Gabba for 2 years now, Its the Infinium Gore-tex version. I'm 5'5 (57 yrs) with a 39" chest, 145 - 150 pounds and 32" waist +/- and it fits snug, which is what was wanted. Its been a great short sleeve jacket, pair with some DRW arm warmers and a winter jersey and mirco base layer, at 41F / 6C with light rain, drizzle, not to hot, not to cold, and reasonably dry. They are water resistant? not proof, but its been great for what I use if for as a drizzle day jacket in the 40's (F) I have put a polarguard vest underneath on colder dry days to say 28-30F, and even a Gore-Tex jacket over top in constant rain or heavy rain, or when the temps dip even lower. Personally, I think the Gabba is Yahoo-tastic and must be short sleeved. the two pockets are great, if one was a zipper key pocket that would be a bonus. I really like my jersey's and other garments that have evolved to have one small zipper pocket. Portland Oregon USA
