Challenge Roth once again proved why it is one of the most iconic events in long-distance triathlon. With hundreds of thousands of passionate spectators, one of the sport's biggest expo experiences, countless community events throughout race week and a world-class professional field, Roth brought the entire triathlon world together once again.
3:54:45 - New Bike Course Record
For Team Castelli, the weekend delivered plenty to celebrate.
Rico Bogen made an outstanding long-distance debut, racing fearlessly at the front from the very beginning. The young Leipziger was first out of the water, dictated the pace on the bike and even reached the legendary Solar Hill in the lead before securing an incredible third place against one of the strongest fields ever assembled in Roth.
Rico's incredible performance was underlined by a new bike course record of 3:54:45.
Caroline "Caro" Pohle also impressed in her first full-distance race, producing a composed performance to finish as the top German woman and cap off a memorable debut.
Both Team Erdinger athletes left Roth eager for more, proving they have a bright future in long-distance triathlon.
Local favorite Frederic Funk delivered another strong performance with seventh place, while Zack Cooper rounded out an impressive day for the team by finishing 13th in a highly competitive men's field.
Pre-Race Activities
Beyond the racing, it was fantastic to connect with thousands of athletes and fans throughout the week at the expo, share the excitement during community events and celebrate everything that makes Roth one of the sport's most special weekends.
With the biggest race of the summer now in the books, it's time for a short reset before the focus shifts to championship season in Nice and Kona, along with the remaining races on the T100 calendar.
