There are stories in cycling that never truly end - they simply wait for the perfect moment to write their next great chapter.

Anyone who loves this sport remembers the era from 1989 to 1994: a golden age defined by epic rivalries, legends like Greg LeMond and Miguel Indurain, and above all, the unmistakable Scorpion logo proudly displayed on the official leader jerseys of the Tour de France. For six unforgettable years, Castelli had the honor of manufacturing the most coveted kit in cycling: the Maillot Jaune.

Today, we are thrilled to announce: the scorpion is back.

Starting with the 2027 season, Castelli will become the Official Partner of A.S.O. (Amaury Sport Organisation). This means we will design and produce the official classification jerseys for the most prestigious cycling events on the planet, including: TDF, TDFFAZ, la Vuelta, Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Paris-Nice, La Flèche Wallonne, and many more.

In total, this agreement covers 27 global events, encompassing professional men's and women's races as well as major mass-participation events (such as L'Étape du Tour de France, Paris-Roubaix Challenge, and Liège-Bastogne-Liège Challenge), bringing together over 80,000 passionate riders each year.

This is a truly historic moment in Castelli’s 150-year history. For a global cycling brand, producing the Maillot Jaune of the Tour de France is the greatest honour there is, not to mention the jerseys for other major races such as Paris-Nice and La Vuelta. The journey toward 2027 begins now. The first look at this new era will take place in Paris on 22 October during the official presentation of the 2027 Tour de France route, where the brand-new leader jerseys for the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift will be officially unveiled.
