The fabric sheds water at an amazing rate but also breathes to keep you from getting wet from the inside. The stretch inserts allow us to create a close, more aerodynamic fit so the jacket doesn't flap in the breeze like those old-school rain jackets. Since this jacket might be on for a while, we've added pockets to the back for quick access to what you might need. And since this is a rain jacket, we've added drain holes to the pockets so they don't fill up with water. Even with all this, the jacket will still pack down to fit in a pocket should the rain stop and the sun come out. Its packability also means you can easily take it with you if you know rain is likely before you finish your ride. This jacket was designed for staying warm and surviving the worst rain days.
