Another piece that started in a Team Ineos focus group – our warmest base layer (Flanders) with essentially a built-in neck warmer.

On merely cold days, keep the neck down to fill in the space inside the collar of your jacket.

On brutally cold days, pull it up over your face for extra warmth, with the double layer SottoZero fleece fabric to keep you even warmer.

Ma cold weather go-to Baselayer

I’m 185, around 92 kg, XL fits fine. The neck warmer is THE BEST! Can be used in different conditions, in combination with a Gabba / Perfetto longsleeve or my old Espresso winter jacket, when it’s really cold. Good moisture transport. Will buy again Submitted on 01 April 2020 by Sebastiano

the warmest - yet.

About size: I am 190cm, 76kg-ish (winter weight), chest 94cm, weist 84cm. M is perfect, tight everywhere, but not irritating, however the front length may require a few more cms. Fortunately at the bottom it is longer. Condition: subzero (-4C), high humidity. Pairing with a fleece jacket. It keep your torso warm and do not let the heat away. However, the mesh armpit works well. Small sweat stains only on stomach and back between scapulas surface. Condition: +7C, windy, low humidity. Pairing with Castelli Alpha Wind Jersey FZ. Almost too hot combination, fortunately the jersey has double zip, which let me play the airflow. Please note, it is not made of merino wool. Super Warm

This base layer allows me to use light jackets but feels like I am using a heavier. It reduces the bulk of my overall required outfits.
