Thank you to everyone who participated, and a special 'chapeau' in particular to those who completed the challenge in its entirety, which is quite an achievement!
Although your route most likely didn’t include the bone-rattling cobblestones that define this northern classic, we’re certain that you finished with a greater appreciation of the effort put in by the professional racers who compete for one of cycling’s greatest monuments.
That's more total kilometers (by far) than have been ridden by professional riders at Paris Roubaix since the race began in 1896.
Approximately 15,178,736 miles
If you had ridden the official 2020 Paris Roubaix route, each of you would have covered 55 km of cobbles. The number above is the total for all riders that completed the challenge in its entirety.
Approximately 1,671,485 miles
If the entire challenge had taken place on the .5 km circuit in the Roubaix velodrome, this is the total number of times participants would have gone around.
