MINDFUL VIDEO SERIES
After our 2018/2019 series that focused on Stephen Hype, which chronicled his cerebral journey from injury to national champion, this season picks up with Kaitie Keough at the Jinglecross World Cup in Iowa. She shares her thoughts on her first win at a World Cup last year and how it has shaped her mindset before embarking on a full season of racing in Europe.
"WORKING CLASS CYCLOCROSS"
Based in the Pacific Northwest, Team S&M CX is an all-women's professional cyclocross team. The term "working class cyclocross" originated from team owner Erik Tonkin's careful balance of managing and growing Sellwood Cycle Repair while racing full-time across disciplines. Team S&M's grassroots, organic style comes out of this industrious cross-section and has brought forth a strong lineage of top Pacific Northwest racers.
Athletes Clara Honsinger, Beth Ann Orton, Sophie Russenberger, and manager-mechanic Brenna Wrye-Simpson fill out a US-based roster with their sights set on World Championships at the end of the season. With a World Cup podium and a U23 National Championship win in the books, we’re excited to watch this all-women's pro team from our own backyard as they grow and evolve into such strong racers.
