This is the real thing. The same jersey worn by the GCN presenters as well as the pros from Team Ineos. Castelli's work on aero jerseys was pioneering back when Dan Lloyd was riding for Cervélo TestTeam. It started with the idea that we could save watts even in a road race. Seems obvious now, but no one had done it at the time.
Fast-forward more than a decade and the Castelli Aero Race 6.0 represents the state of the art in aero, but also in functional comfort. This is Castelli's sixth major iteration, and each generation has become more aero and better fitting. The Aero Race 6.0 benefits heavily from CFD analysis of wake flow in the riding position for fabric and seam placement. It also benefits from Team Ineos rider feedback that has helped make the jersey comfortable for long hours of training and then racing in every possible weather condition.
