Leonardo Basso
Quickly adapting to life in the pro ranks, Leonardo Basso impressed in his debut season with Team Ineos, working hard and picking up results in the process. The Italian was a late signing ahead of the 2018 season but was quickly in the mix, collecting a string of top-10 stage finishes. He’ll be looking to continue that progression into 2019 with the benefit of a year of experience under his belt.
Egan Bernal
A new superstar was crowned in 2018 as Egan Bernal burst on to the WorldTour scene. Showing incredible power and poise, wins quickly followed for the young Colombian.
With overall victories at Colombia Oro y Paz and the Tour of California already on his list of achievements, the sky is truly the limit for Bernal, who played a key role in the team’s Tour de France victory. His progress in 2019 will be fascinating to watch.
Jonathan Castroviejo
Enjoying a successful first year as a Team Ineos rider, Jonathan Castroviejo played an integral part In Geraint Thomas’ Tour de France victory. The former European time trial champion is a specialist against the clock and has used his TT ability to claim four national titles in his career.
An adept climber, Castroviejo is a fantastic all-rounder and a key part of our stage race roster.
David de la Cruz
An exciting stage race talent, David de la Cruz picked up two stage victories during his first year in the colours of Team Ineos.
Seventh place overall at the Vuelta a Espana in 2016 demonstrated his Grand Tour capabilities, with De La Cruz also providing valuable help to Chris Froome in his successful Giro d’Italia campaign last season. One-week stage races are a further ambition as he looks to develop in 2019.
Owain Doull
Part of a wave of young British talent in the sport, Owain Doull turned professional on the road after claiming an Olympic Gold medal on the track in 2016 as part of the team pursuit squad.
The Welshman has quickly developed into a strong all-round talent, adept in the tough terrain of the Classics but also a capable stage racer, as witnessed by third place overall at the Tour of Britain. Big things are expected as Doull continues his progression.
Eddie Dunbar
After joining Team Ineos towards the end of the 2018 season, Eddie Dunbar was quick to impress coaches and teammates with some committed performances.
A punchy climber with a burst of speed, the Irishman steps up to his first full season in the WorldTour in 2019 and will have plenty of great riders to learn from on the team. One of the rising stars of the sport, expect Dunbar to kick on again in 2019.
Kenny Elissonde
A thoroughbred climber, Kenny Elissonde is most comfortable in the mountains and has provided the team with some great climbing support.
2019 sees the loveable Frenchman enter his third season with Team Sky. A surging attack on stage 19 at the Giro d’Italia helped launch Chris Froome’s race-winning attack last season, with Elissonde also a Grand Tour stage winner in his own right, taking victory atop the Angliru in the 2013 Vuelta a Espana.
Chris Froome
One of the greatest Grand Tour riders in the history of the sport, Chris Froome further cemented his legacy in 2018 after claiming a sensational Giro d’Italia victory.
The Brit became only the third rider in history to hold all three Grand Tour titles at the same time, adding to an incredible palmares which already includes four Tour de France victories. Showing no sign of slowing down, Froome is targeting yet more success in 2019.
Filippo Ganna
A new signing for the 2019 season, Filippo Ganna adds yet more time trial firepower to the team and another exciting young talent.
The Italian has made waves on the track, winning world and European titles in the individual pursuit. He has also impressed against the clock on the road and will look to develop further as he enters his third season as a WorldTour professional.
Tao Geoghegan Hart
The young British stage racer has impressed at every level and stepped up again in a memorable 2018 season.
Tao Geoghegan Hart played a key role in team wins at the Dauphine, Tour of California and Colombia Oro y Paz. Finishing the year with his first Grand Tour appearance at the Vuelta a Espana, the Londoner has a great foundation to build on in 2019 as he looks to make another step forward.
Michal Golas
An experienced member of the team, Michal Golas has seen it all and enjoyed plenty of success during his 13-year pro career.
A former national champion, the Pole is one of the strongest and most dependable domestiques in the sport and has been part of many race-winning team performances.
Kristoffer Halvorsen
One of the most exciting young talents in the sport, Kristoffer Halvorsen enjoyed incredible success at under-23 level, winning the world championship road race in 2016.
After turning pro with Team Sky in 2018, the rapid Norwegian has set about learning the ropes and what it takes to compete with some of the best sprinters in the world. With two professional victories already to his name the future looks bright.
Sebastián Henao
2018 saw Sebastian Henao solidify his reputation as a strong and dependable climber, as well as gaining more experience in big races.
The Colombian has grown up in the team since turning pro with Team Ineos back in 2014, and is part of a wave of South American talent which has swept through the WorldTour.

One of the most complete team riders in professional cycling, Vasil Kiryienka is defined by his consistency and ability against the clock.
Time trial world champion in 2015, ‘Kiry’ also has three Giro d’Italia stage victories to his name, but is perhaps best known for spending kilometre after kilometre on the front of the peloton during Grand Tours. His power and work ethic make him a key part of our team.
Christian Knees
An experienced and decorated domestique, Christian Knees was part of Team Ineos’s first Tour de France victory and more recently played a key role in Chris Froome’s hat-trick of Grand Tour successes.
Entering his 14th season as a professional in 2019, the powerful German is an expert at protecting his team leader, but also loves mixing it up in the Classics and sprint finishes.
Michal Kwiatkowski
One of the classiest riders in the peloton, Michal Kwiatkowski continues to add to his glittering palmares after another successful season.
2018 saw Kwiato add three stage victories to a career that already includes the world road race championship and Milan-San Remo. Not just a born winner, the Pole is also able to transform himself into a super domestique, helping Team Ineos claim Tour de France victory in the last two seasons.
Chris Lawless
Talented Brit Chris Lawless turned pro with Team Ineos in 2018 and wasted little time in claiming his first professional victory.
With a fast sprint finish and a love for the Classics, Lawless spent his first year with the team learning the ropes at the highest level, and will look to take those lessons into 2019 as he aims to continue his progression.
Gianni Moscon
One of the most exciting talents in the sport, Gianni Moscon can do it all. From winning one-week stage races to competing at the highest level in the Classics.
The Italian rounded out 2018 with a string of victories, including the Tour of Guangxi – his first win at WorldTour level. With a fifth-place finish at Paris-Roubaix and a podium at Il Lombardia also to his name, Moscon is knocking on the door of major one-day successes.
Jhonatan Narvaez
Team Sky’s first Ecuadorian rider sees the team continue to develop exciting South American talent.
Jhonatan Narvaez will look to maintain his upward trajectory in his second season as a pro. With some encouraging results in stage races and one-day races alike, Narvaez possesses fantastic all-round ability and will be able to learn from his new teammates and coaches in 2019.
Wout Poels
Team Ineos’s joker in the pack, Wout Poels took some popular stage wins in 2018 as well as helping to support two Grand Tour victories.
Since joining the team in 2015 the Dutchman has been synonymous with Grand Tour success, playing key roles in five successive Grand Tour titles for the team. Poels also claimed the team’s first Monument with a rousing victory at Liege-Bastogne-Liege.
Salvatore Puccio
Continuing his progression to become one of the most impressive domestiques in the sport, Salvatore Puccio maintained a great run of form in 2018.
The Italian helped Chris Froome claim victory at the Giro d’Italia, mirroring his role from the 2017 Vuelta a Espana. Transitioning from a Classics focus to concentrate on stage races has paid dividends for Puccio, who will be aiming for more of the same this season.
Diego Rosa
Joining the team in 2017, Diego Rosa has impressed during the last two seasons and will hope to be part of even more success in 2019.
A strong climber, 2018 saw the Italian claim the first stage race victory of his career, winning Settimana Coppi e Bartali. He will be hoping for more success with the team this year in addition to playing a key support role in Grand Tours.
Luke Rowe
Since joining Team Ineos in 2012, Welshman Luke Rowe has developed into one of the most impressive and consistent riders in the peloton.
With a love for the Classics that sees him in the mix for top results each spring, Rowe then routinely transforms himself into an indispensable Grand Tour road captain. Part of the winning Tour de France squad for the last four seasons, Rowe is a true all-round talent.
Pavel Sivakov
Another top climbing talent to join Team Ineos in 2018, Pavel Sivakov has quickly settled into life as a pro and put together an impressive string of performances, culminating in his Grand Tour debut at the Vuelta a Espana.
A former winner of the Baby Giro, after a rapid rise through the under-23 ranks Sivakov will be ready to take another step in his career in 2019.

Yet another incredible talent to emerge from Colombia, Ivan Sosa enjoyed a breakthrough 2018 season and will hope to continue his development as he steps up to the WorldTour with Team Ineos.
Overall victory at the Vuelta a Burgos demonstrated the high level Sosa is already operating at, and he should provide an exciting new dimension to the team in 2019.
Ian Stannard
A founding member of the team, Ian Stannard has been rock solid since 2010 and shows no sign of letting up.
With some big Classics results to his name, the Brit relishes the challenge of the cobbles and will be targeting another big spring campaign. He also has the versatility to transform himself into a key Grand Tour support rider, helping the team to a number of wins down the years.
Ben Swift
Making a popular return to the team after a two-year absence, Ben Swift is back with a new hunger and a new role in 2019.
In addition to chasing a number of goals, as one of the senior riders on the team Swift has plenty of wisdom to impart on a young core of riders. With two podium finishes at Milan-San Remo to his name, on his day Swift can go toe to toe for victory in the sport’s biggest one-day races.
Geraint Thomas
Coming off a career year which saw him capture Tour de France victory, British Sports Personality of the Year and an OBE, Geraint Thomas will be looking to return to winning ways once again in 2019.
The Welshman has a glittering palmares to his name but remains hungry for more stage race success. Now most comfortable on the climbs after an early career of track and Classics success, G is one of the sport’s true all-rounders.
Dylan van Baarle
With Classics pedigree and strong stage race credentials, Dylan van Baarle impressed in his first season riding for the team.
The Dutchman will be hoping for big things on the cobbles in 2019, with a best result of fourth at the Tour of Flanders to his name. The 2018 Dutch national time trial champion is also targeting another Grand Tour appearance this season.
