MADE OF MEDIUM WEIGHT 3D MESH POLYESTER MICROFIBRE WITH HYDROPHILIC OUTER LAYER DESIGNED TO DRAW PERSPIRATION AWAY FROM THE SKIN AND INCREASE EVAPORATION ON THE SURFACE. A 3-SEASON COLD WEATHER TRAINING LAYER.

The design is inspired by the winter training routes around Girona in Catalunya, Northern Spain, often referred to as The Pro's Backyard.

With the onset of Autumn and the racing over until the next Spring, the attention turns to training, and after a few weeks off, the Pro’s are quickly back on their bikes embarking on long training rides to build their base km’s ahead of the new campaign.

Nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees, Girona is the perfect location for those long training rides and the various routes became the inspiration for the surface pattern, an abstract road map of the roads and villages that every pro knows.

The fabric is a Polyester Microfibre with Hydrophilic Outer Layer, at 145g/m it is a heavier weight than our Backyard Base Layers and is designed to be paired with a 1.62 J/J Jersey Jacket or a 1.64 Rocka Mk2 Jacket for that perfect combination for long training rides.

Like the 1.81 Base Layer it has panelled hems - for the Backyard Base Layer we've made this construction method more obvious by using a contrasting colours for the inside panels at the waistline.
